Miami Beach Florida has it all. This bustling metropolis has restaurants, museums, and art galleries surrounded by white sandy beaches. If glamor, grandeur, and glitz are your thing, choose one of the five star Miami hotels with lush landscapes and oceanfront settings. Add in a guaranteed high level of customer service and laid back sophistication and it's a winning recipe. Start your day with a dip in the pool or perhaps saluting the sun with yoga on the beach. Later take in a little shopping and sightseeing and then, as evening falls, you can enjoy the Miami nightlife in one or more of the city's most popular nightclubs.

Play all day on a Miami Beach, with that blue ocean on your doorstep and when you're done with sunbathing; be sure to check out water-sports. There's kayaking, windsurfing, scuba diving, and some of the best deep sea fishing in the world. Vacationing during the dry warm winters, when the rest of the US is shivering with cold, is perfect. It's one of only a handful of places in the US that's never recorded snow. It couldn't be easier to get here either. Located on a barrier island, the 35-mile lagoon of Biscayne Bay separates Miami Beach from the city. Served by multiple airlines, Miami International Airport (MIA) is number 10 in the world based on the passengers arriving. But don't be daunted. It's still very user friendly.

For the most part, Miami is too spread out to be a walker's city and you'll need your car or a cab to explore some of the attractions. Be sure to check out the colorful and stylish Art Deco District, listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Here you'll find the largest collection of Art Deco architecture in the world; hundreds of hotels and apartments built between 1923 and 1943. And the city's many art galleries are located close together along Ponce de Leon Boulevard in Coral Gables although you'll find others in the shopping district at Bal Harbor too. There's plenty here for sports fans too. The Florida Marlins baseball team plays at Dolphin Stadium when it's not football season, because at that time it's occupied by the city's most popular team, the Miami Dolphins. You can also enjoy betting on the horses just north of the city at the Gulfstream Park Casino and Racing. Or if you prefer polo, check out the Miami Beach Polo Club on the sands of South Beach.

At South Beach you'll be able to ditch that car as it's a pedestrian precinct, as is Coconut Grove. These charming areas bounded by the Atlantic Ocean are just perfect for strolling and exploring. With a wonderful variety of art galleries, shops and designer boutiques, you can shop 'til you drop. As an added plus, there's a huge variety of sidewalk cafes, bars, and restaurants. From Cuban to Caribbean, your taste buds will be tickled. The climate is perfect for great outdoor dining combined with people watching. And as night falls and cocktail hour starts, you're in exactly the right place to enjoy Miami nightlife. The most popular nightclubs are right here in South Beach and if you thrive on high-octane hits pumped out at full volume you will love it here and the fun can last until dawn breaks. Don't worry though, many of the five star Miami hotels have their own nightclubs, bars and cocktail lounges too, so you don't have far to go to party if you decide to stay in for an evening.

Sunny year-round, Florida's the sunshine state and Miami's the nation's playground. So turn your back on those snow flurries and enjoy white sands and blue sea. With a wealth of five star Miami hotels to choose from, the toughest part of your vacation may be selecting your favorite. In a nutshell, for a glamorous and luxurious vacation with a laid back location and guaranteed sunshine, you are bound to have glorious vacation in this beach-side paradise.
